Arthroscopic Surgery

A minimally invasive joint surgery

Arthroscopy is minimally invasive joint surgery. This procedure is performed through small incisions without opening the joint. This is the standard for human joint surgery and has been available for pets for many years.

Arthroscopy provides the advantages of better visualization of joint structures, decreased post operative pain, decreased chance of infection and a quicker return to normal function. Arthroscopic surgery is an outpatient procedure due to its’ minimally invasive nature.

We have been performing arthroscopic procedures for over 15 years. It is our standard practice when diagnosing and treating torn cranial cruciate ligaments, medial meniscal tears, shoulder OCD lesions, as well as elbow FMC, OCD and ununited anconeal process. If you want less post surgical pain, smaller incisions, less down time and quicker return to function arthroscopy is what you are looking for.
